Call for Nominations

2006 PMI® Healthcare SIG
Project of the Year Award

Purpose
To recognize and honor the accomplishments of a PMI Healthcare SIG Member and their project team for superior performance and execution of exemplary project management in the healthcare industry. This is not related to the PMI Project of the Year Award.

Eligibility
Healthcare projects from anywhere in the world are encouraged to participate, regardless of size. The project must be accepted as complete by the Owner/Client within three years of the nomination. There can be no restrictions on the use of the submitted information after the final date of submission.

General Criteria
     1. Project is within the Healthcare Industry.
     2. Project Manager is a member of the PMI Healthcare SIG.
     3. Met or exceeded Owner/Client's needs as evidenced by a letter from the Owner/Client.
     4. Met or improved on the project management plan (i.e. budget plan, workplan) performance
         when compared with original approved project management plan.     
     5. The advancement of the image of the project management profession as demonstrated by          effective application of the principles set forth in A Guide to the Project Management Body of          Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide).

Nomination & Submission Procedure
Nominations must be submitted, or postmarked, to the Healthcare SIG by August 1, 2006. Nominations should be submitted to the Director of Membership and Outreach at
membership@pmihealthcare.org or at the following address:
